Is the book ready to order?
Not yet. Little Melbourne Stories is a concept in development. The illustrated story on this site is a fictional sample, and joining the list is an expression of interest, not a preorder.
Will the stories actually be set in Melbourne?
That's the direction we're exploring. Our sample follows a family past familiar Melbourne places. The first finished book, its locations and its personalisation options are still being designed.
Can my whole family be in the story?
That's the idea. We're designing stories where children, parents, siblings, grandparents and pets can all have a part to play. We haven't finalised the options yet.
Do I need to upload photos or share my child's name now?
No. The interest form asks only for your email address. Your first name, suburb and an idea for who might star are optional. Please don't send children's names or photos through the form.
What will a book cost, and when will it ship?
We haven't set a price, launch date, printing format or delivery timeline. We'll share those details when we can give you a reliable answer.
What happens after I join the list?
Your details are emailed to the Little Melbourne Stories team so we can gauge interest and email you about early access. There is no payment or obligation, and you can ask to be removed by replying to an email.
